Mary Murray is an Irish film, television and stage actress, best known for The Magdalene Sisters, Love/Hate and Adam & Paul. She is also director of Visions Drama School in her native Dublin.

Mary has been shortlisted for ‘Best Actress’ in the BBC Audio Drama Awards 2023.

Directed by Jim Culleton, and performed by Mary Murray and Aidan Kelly.

Mary can be seen in 50 cinemas nationwide from 20th January 2023 playing Sheila in the comedy horror LET THE WRONG ONE IN.

She can be heard online in Liffey Lane with the Abbey Theatre's production of Unseen Plays.

She can seen performing the role of Ganna in the latest season of Valhalla which has recently been released on Netflix.

Holy Mary by Eoin Colfer will return to the Olympia Theatre in 2023 after it's hugely successful pre-pandemic tour.

She is the director of Visions Drama School and Agency in Dublin and during the Covid-19 lockdown she reignited her love for singing and established Karaoke in Mary’s Gaf. She also presented four radio shows for The Power of Dreams Show on Dublin South FM on 93.9fm. She is also a member of The Corps Ensemble Theatre Company.

Notable Roles


Mary played Janet in seasons 3, 4 and 5 of the hit TV Series Love/Hate for which she was nominated best leading actress and best supporting actress at the IFTAS.

Other notable productions include The Magdalene Sisters, Adam and Paul and Penny Dreadful.
