Mary will perform a one woman show written by Sheena Lambert and directed by Rex Ryan at Smock Alley this July, based on the life of Cosima, the second wife of German composer Richard Wagner and daughter of composer and pianist Franz Liszt. Cosima co-founded the Bayreuth Festival as a showcase for Wagner's works. After his death she devoted the rest of her life to the promotion of his music and philosophy. She is recognised as the principal inspiration for Wagner's later works, particularly Parsifal.

She will tour the country in November with Fishamble Theatre to reprise her role as Nell in Outrage for Fishamble Theatre Company, written by Deirdre Kinahan.

Mary travelled to Germany in March 2023 with Fishamble Theatre Company to develop a new show by Deirdre Kinahan alongside Staattheatre Mainz based on the Palatines in Ireland.

 

 

Mary won ‘Best Actress’ at the BBC Audio Drama Awards 2023 for the role of Janet in The Pride of Parnell Street by Sebastian Barry. Directed by Jim Culleton of Fishamble Theatre Company and performed alongside Aidan Kelly.

Mary will be shooting the feature film Clan Canavan in January and recording the radio play Sandwich in February 2024.

Mary recently played Sheila, vampire queen and fiancé to the brilliant Anthony Head in the comedy horror LET THE WRONG ONE IN. It's now available to view on streaming platforms worldwide.

Mary recently won Best Actress at the The Underground film Awards for her role in the short film A Christmas Matter.

She can seen performing the role of Ganna in the latest season of Valhalla on Netflix.

After a hugely successful run of Holy Mary by Eoin Colfer at 3Olympia Theatre and the National Opera House Wexford this year, Mary will return to Irish and Stateside audiences alongside Jacinta Sheerin for another run in 2024.
